Eva Mendes is slowly coming out of her shell these days!

The children’s book author, who has been focusing on motherhood since having two kids, surprised her fans by sharing photos from Stella McCartney’s cruelty-free winter campaign.

In the pictures, Mendes wore a strapless (trend alert!) black dress that showed plenty of cleavage, paired with tights as she held onto a black mini bag. Her brunette locks went wild with the wind, and she sported some brown eyeshadow for glam.

In another shot on Stella McCartney's official Instagram page, the actress is seen wearing a giant pink fuzzy coat along with the caption: "@EvaMendes wears iconic Stella coating in #crueltyfree alternatives. Every year, over 3.4 billion birds are harmed or killed for feather down. We use kind innovations instead."

In another picture, Eva is seen wearing a leather trench coat, which is actually made from apple waste. The caption reads, "Fashion uses 1.5 million crocodile skins annually. @EvaMendes wears our trench, crafted from UPPEAL, a #vegan alternative to exotic leathers innovated from apple waste."

It seems that the wife of Ryan Gosling is willing to step into the spotlight if it's for a good cause, and we're totally here for it! Recently, the Cuban native got candid on whether she'll ever return to acting.

Eva Mendes Discusses Return to Acting

She bluntly said during an appearance on Good Morning America on Tuesday while promoting her kid's book, Desi, Mami, and The Never-Ending Worries, "I don't know. If there's interesting roles…I kind of felt like I did it, you know? I was like, ‘I just worked with Ryan Gosling. He's like, the best,'" referencing her 2012 movie titled The Place Beyond the Pines.

She added, "It was such a high [in] my career to work with him and what we created together that I was like, 'This is a good time to like 'Seinfeld' it, and just walk out.' So, who knows?"

While her husband has been appearing in hits after hits such as Barbie and The Fall Guy, Eva is more focused on being there for her daughters, Esmerelda, 10, and Amada, 8. When asked what her girls thought of her book, she said, "They love it. I think they love it. They're very harsh critics, though."
