Hoping to create a more holistic beauty routine? Incorporating facial exercises and stretches is a great way to go. Plus, most of these moves target areas of your face you’d normally try to fix with botox – AKA, forehead wrinkles, smile lines, and crow’s feet. Luckily, if you start implementing these facial stretches into your beauty routine, you could avoid the plastic surgeon’s office altogether.
A general rule of thumb: make sure you’re doing all of these exercises on a clean face and with clean hands. If you have any skin or health conditions, it’s also a good idea to consult your doctor. Forehead Freeze from The Face Yoga Method
For this facial stretch, you need to place one hand on your forehead with your eyes closed. When you open your eyes, pay attention to how your forehead moves. Most likely, you will feel it moving upwards as your eyes open wider and wider. The goal of this exercise is to stop that movement. Once you have “freezed” your forehead, hold the position for 5 seconds.
