Taylor Swift is arguably one of the most famous people in the world, which, while fun in some aspects, makes doing pretty much anything without being followed, photographed, or approached nearly impossible. At the Super Bowl last weekend, Swift was photographed as she was exiting the restroom–with her bodyguard close behind.
Many Swifties, as her fans call themselves, were quick to blast the fans that were waiting outside the bathroom for Taylor Swift, calling them “the reason” Taylor can’t so much as go to the bathroom without protection. Keep reading for more information.
Taylor Swift Seen Exiting The Restroom With Bodyguard
While it might seem like the rich and famous live different lives, some aspects are exactly the same. That’s right, Taylor Swift has to use the public bathroom at the Super Bowl just like the rest of us. But unfortunately, she cannot do so in peace. The pop star was spotted by fans waiting outside of the bathroom for her, and snapped photos of her as she exited the restroom.
If you look past Taylor, you can see that her bodyguard followed her to the bathroom as well. Her bodyguard, Drew, is pretty much a fixture in paparazzi photos of Taylor—he accompanied her to receive her honorary degree from NYU, is often seated next to her at the award shows she attends, and pretty much every other public event you can think of.

Fans 'Feel Sorry' For Taylor Swift
Most fans, ones separate from those mobbing Taylor as she exited the bathroom, feel bad for the "Cruel Summer" singer, unable to do some of the simplest things without needing a bodyguard nearby. "This is insane," one person commented on the photos posted of Taylor. "She can't even go to the bathroom without pictures! You guys are the reason that bodyguard is always within three feet."
"I just feel sorry for her..." another person posted. "She truly doesn't know peace."
"I can't imagine that life..." one user wrote. "I wish people would just let her be sometimes! She's there to support her boyfriend, not meet fans."
