Kate Middleton recently shared a couple of heartfelt snapshots on the Instagram account she shares with her husband, Prince William (@princeandprincessofwales). Earlier this month, she posted a touching photo of William, 42, with their three kids, all standing on a sand dune with their backs to the camera, looking out over a beach. The post celebrated the future king on Father’s Day.
A few weeks later, Kate, 42, delighted fans with another picture, seemingly taken on the same day, featuring the Prince Of Wales joyfully jumping in the air with their children—Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6,—on a Norfolk beach.
Kensington Palace confirmed that both photos were taken by Kate last month. Fans flooded the comments sections with adoration for the endearing family moments. This comes after Kate had to apologize back in March for “any confusion caused” by an edited family photo that was widely circulated by news outlets.
That particular image, taken by William and released to celebrate Mother’s Day in the U.K., had stirred quite a bit of attention.

Kate shared her first recent post in honor of William on June 16th, writing in the caption for the account’s 16.5 million followers: “We love you, Papa. Happy Father’s Day. G, C & L.” On June 21st, the second beach photo taken by the Princess of Wales was shared to IG with the caption: “Happy birthday Papa, we all love you so much! Cx.”
Beneath the first post of the two, many users thanked Kate for sharing the “lovely” shot. “Awww this is so cute. A very Happy Father’s Day to The Prince of Wales who is a wonderful dad. And this is such a beautiful picture taken by The Princess of Wales, thank you for sharing it with us,” one wrote. Another commented that Kate took “a well lovely composed, photo with magic hour light.” They added: “You have a real talent in photography. Thank you for sharing it.”

Under William’s bday shoutout, one user wrote: “By far my absolute favorite shot of Prince William with his children. There is so much joy and laughter evident in this gimpse into their private family lives.” Another concurred, commenting: “This should absolutely break the internet!! Kate recently made her return to the public eye, gracing the Trooping the Colour regal event on June 15th in a chic and elegant white Jenny Packham midi dress, complete with a stylish black-and-white striped bow accentuating her neckline and a belt around her waist to match. The style icon also donned a classy Philip Treacy hat and white pointed-toe heels to top it all off.
This was the Princess of Wales' first public appearance in half a year, following the announcement of her cancer diagnosis back in March.
Princess Kate, her husband William, their three children and other members of the royal family congregated in London to honor King Charles' birthday, where a magnificent parade through the streets took place.
Naturally, fans on social media were overjoyed to see Kate's fashionable return. Trooping the Colour witnessed the first public appearance of William and Kate with their little ones since Christmas Day at Sandringham.
The occasion of King Charles, 75, was graced by his eldest son and daughter-in-law, who were spotted on the balcony with their adorable brood.
Last weekend, there was a lot of buzz surrounding Kate's appearance at Trooping the Colour. However, it's important to note that she's still undergoing cancer treatment and has not yet resumed her royal duties.
