Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath devotees are voicing their anger and disappointment on social media over what many are calling outrageous prices for the iconic rock and heavy metal band’s farewell performance. Last week, pre-sale tickets in the U.K. and Europe were priced between £197.50 and £834.
Fans flocked to social media to share screenshots of their efforts to buy tickets for the eagerly awaited concert in Birmingham, U.K. this summer. This event will mark Osbourne’s final performance as he continues his battle with Parkinson’s. Scheduled for July 5th at Villa Park in the “Crazy Train” singer’s hometown, the concert will feature the original Black Sabbath members.

Fans Furious Over 'Insane' Ticket Prices for Ozzy Osbourne’s Farewell Show as Reports Say He Won’t Do a Full Set: 'Ridiculous'
This means that vocalist Osbourne, 76, will reunite with Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward— all performing on stage for the first time in two decades.
The long-awaited event will feature iconic metal bands like Metallica, Slayer, Gojira, Alice in Chains, and Lamb of God.

Additionally, The Independent reports that a "supergroup" with members from Limp Bizkit, Van Halen, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Faith No More will perform.
All proceeds will be divided among three charities: Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice. When tickets were released on February 11th, fans were frustrated by long wait times on Ticketmaster and high ticket prices.

One wrote on X (formerly Twitter): "I don’t wanna hear sh-t when the pop girlies charge £100 for a ticket." Another added: "Black Sabbath charging £420 for nosebleeds that aren’t VIP is actually f---ing insane."
An additional fan commented: "I know it’s for charity but come on now." They posted a snap of their screen, showing a ticket that cost £487.50. One other tweeted: "Great day to not be trying to get Black Sabbath tickets bc what the f--k are those prices."

This announcement follows Osbourne's revelation during his "Ozzy Speaks" show about his final concert. He admitted that he plans to perform only short segments, or "bits and pieces," instead of an entire set.
"I'm not planning on doing a set with Black Sabbath but I am doing little bits and pieces with them," the rock legend said, as reported by The Daily Mail. The Prince of Darkness added: "I am doing what I can where I feel comfortable."
