Meghan Markle isn’t the only one to be slammed by royal fans at the moment, as King Charles is also facing criticism from the internet!
According to reports, the monarch has dropped a cool $3.8M on a house for a very interesting and controversial reason: to prevent construction next to Queen Camilla‘s vacation home in Wiltshire. We’re not kidding!

King Charles Purchases The House Next Door To Queen Camilla's Ray Mill House In Wiltshire
According to The Mirror, King Charles just purchased a four-bedroom house next door to Queen Camilla's Ray Mill House in the village of Lacock, Wiltshire for £3M, which at the time of writing is around $3.8M.
Queen Camilla has owned the home since 1995 – ten years before she married King Charles – and enjoys going there to spend quiet time by herself or with loved ones. And the monarch reportedly shelled out to ensure that her vacations remain quiet and stress-free!

King Charles reportedly purchased the new property for his love to prevent another prospective buyer from turning it into a wedding venue. An insider told the Mail on Sunday that the potential buyer wanted to "maximize commercial use of the property as a short-term holiday rental and wedding venue" which would therefore make Queen Camilla's trips there not so quiet and peaceful.
"The new arrangement is a pragmatic solution, being both a sound financial investment and a way of maintaining Her Majesty's privacy, protection and continued enjoyment of her much-loved home, without any public funds being used," a royal insider shared, according to The Mirror.
They added: "I know how grateful and relieved she is, not least given all the additional stresses and anxieties of the past year."

Internet Reactions
"God forbid the peasants are allowed to party next to the King's sidepiece," quipped one X user, as a second slammed: "Yes. Buy extra homes for concubine to be safe! Not to mention for her to pass on to her children and grandchildren as an inheritance."
"Ugh yeah and yet he took away Harry and Meg's home and didn't bother letting them live in peace. But he made sure that Camilla Parker Bowles does," criticized a third, as a fourth echoed: "And yet he threw his own son out of a cottage. Vile old man."
"Complete joke, where is the accountability for these so called working royals," thought a fifth, as a sixth asked: "Was it taxpayers money? Charles is setting his adulterous mistress and her family up with taxpayer money #AbolishTheMonarchy."
"He's a greedy pos!" exclaimed a seventh unhappy X user, as an eighth concurred: "Greedy money grabbing bunch." "I'm sick of the royals and their pompous, evil lifestyle," wrote a ninth non-fan. "The absurdity of it all," commented another.
