Wimbledon is much more than a tennis tournament—it’s an event that draws in big names from around the globe, including members of the royal family. After Kate Middleton attended last week, arriving to a standing ovation from the entire arena, Queen Camilla decided to attend as well, but her presence drew much less adoration from crowds.

In fact, it was her accessory that raised some eyebrows, for the second wife of King Charles was carrying a Lady Dior bag, the same bag that was named for and often carried by the late Princess Diana, King Charles’ first wife. Keep reading for more details.

Queen Camilla Carries The Same Bag Princess Diana Used To Carry

At Wimbledon last week, Queen Camilla matched her ivory power suit to her accessory for the day, a beige Lady Dior bag. The recognizable bag is often associated with Princess Diana, as it was first worn in public by the late Princess herself, and she was often spotted carrying one while out and about.

Many fans think it's inappropriate and disrespectful of the Queen to be wearing a handbag specifically named for your husband's ex-wife that he cheated on with you, and it's hard to argue there. After Page 6 pointed it out with a video on TikTok, it drew quite the negative press to the Queen.

Royal Fans Slam Queen Camilla As 'Tasteless'

The comment section of Page Six's post is filled with fans calling out the 77-year-old for carrying the Lady Dior bag. "Camila carrying a lady dior bag should be illegal," one person wrote.

"It's not an accident," another pointed out. "She did it on purpose."

"She is always poor in taste," another said.

"She shouldn't be allowed to wear this," one royal fan said.

"Super petty," another person said. "She knew what she was doing. I have never liked her, not one day ever. Y'all can hate Megan, but it's Camilla that's the evil one."

"Her desperation for approval is appalling," a final user wrote.
