Nicole Kidman thrilled fans this week by embracing her natural red hair once again, flaunting a lush and vibrant copper hue in a photoshoot for L’Officiel‘s September issue. Shortly after both the Oscar winner, 57, and the magazine posted the stunning images on Instagram, admirers showered the Big Little Lies star with praise for the striking hair color, a notable shift from the cool strawberry blonde locks she has been wearing of late.

On August 27th, Kidman delighted her 10.2 million followers by sharing a stunning photo collection. The images showcased her in an array of designer outfits, including a seductive black backless leather gown by Balenciaga, a luxurious black fur coat from Alaïa, and an asymmetrical top by Bottega Veneta, among other exquisite pieces. Fans headed to the comments section to share their thoughts.

Nicole Kidman Wows Fans With A Return To Her Read Hair In New L’Officiel Cover Shoot

One fan wrote: “One of the most beautiful women in the world but I’m also dying for the red hair comeback” as another added: “Your hair looks fabulous.” Beneath L’Officiel‘s similar post on the same day, someone else commented: “red hair back” with heart and fire emojis as an additional user noted: “Fabulous like always.”

In the cover interview, Kidman delved into her role in the forthcoming  Netflix mystery series, The Perfect Couple, set to premiere on September 5th. This highly anticipated drama, inspired by Elin Hilderbrand‘s celebrated 2018 novel, boasts an impressive cast including Liev Schreiber, Dakota Fanning, and Eve Hewson.

In the forthcoming series, Kidman portrays Greer Garrison Winbury, a renowned author who is orchestrating the wedding of one of her three sons to Hewson’s character, Amelia Sacks—a woman distinctly outside Greer’s elite social circle. However, the joyous occasion takes a dark turn when a corpse is discovered on the beach on the wedding day, casting suspicion on everyone, including Greer herself.

“I’ve fallen in love with the long format because I like the building of character and I like that they’re limited,” Kidman told L’Officiel. “You’re not committing a huge amount of time. It’s still got a cinematic feel to it. It’s more like a slow burn than a film, where you only have two hours to tell your story and build a character,” she added.
