Kelly Osbourne is causing some of her fans to do a double take with her latest Instagram selfie post. The reality star, 39, recently credited the controversial drug Ozempic for her significant weight loss, and she also just changed her hair color from lilac to a trendy ashy blonde.

In her new photo collection upload, the mom of one can be seen wearing a baggy white T-shirt with a black lace lingerie print, showing off her signature bold and flashy style.

Many of Osbourne’s 2.7 million followers took to her April 1st post comments section to share their thoughts on her new look, with some even deeming her to be “unrecognizable.”

Osbourne shared two selfies in the aforementioned get-up, included in her 7-part post. The first two snaps showed her in the flirty, loose-fitting, lace-printed top with her newly dyed locks worn in a chic updo. For her makeup look, the television personality rocked bold black cat-eye liner, sky-high lashes, rosy blush and a soft pink pout.

Her first shot was an up-close selfie taken while getting ready to film an episode of her family’s The Osbournes podcast and the second showed her posing outside, more at a distance. She topped it all off with shiny metal hoop earrings and a bedazzled, blingy choker necklace. “Bra off, hair up, sweats on! WHAT A DAY!” she captioned the post.

Fans then headed to her comments section, with many finding it “hard to recognize” Osbourne in the images. “You look amazing…but I’m not going to lie, at first I thought you were Jessica Simpson,” one wrote as another thought her facial transformation post-weight loss, and as they claimed thanks to “plastic surgery” was “ridiculous.”

Someone else chimed in, commenting: “I just love the new hair color! It looks great on you” as one other concurred: “Looking GORGEOUS.” Osbourne previously unveiled her new hair color (after rocking vibrant purple for five years) in her March 28th carousel.

She flaunted her freshly dyed hair in a sophisticated half-up, half-down style, accentuated with loose curls, after a visit to hairstylist Laura Rugetti. She teased her first major hair color transformation in years with the caption: “Did you hear I have a new look?” Many fans couldn’t get enough of her new hair, and headed to her comments section to share their thoughts. “Absolutely stunning, love this look,” one wrote as another added: “Ok, I’m here for this! Love it.” Someone else concurred, commenting: “Love your hair Kel.”

As for her recent weight loss, Osbourne caused a stir online last month after praising the controversial drug, Ozempic and opening up about her own weight loss journey with it. As for her mother Sharon Osbourne, 71, the media personality has cautioned fans regarding the potential hazards of consuming Ozempic without a legitimate prescription from a medical practitioner.

Back in January, while on the red carpet for Dolly Parton’s Pet Gala, Kelly told E! News just how much she loved Ozempic. “I think it’s amazing,” she confessed. “There are a million ways to lose weight, why not do it through something [that] isn’t as boring as working out?”

“People hate on it because they want to do it,” Kelly speculated. “And the people who hate on it the most are the people who are secretly doing it or [expletive] off that they can’t afford it.”

She added: “Unfortunately, right now it’s something that is very expensive but it eventually won’t be because it actually works.” Kelly previously revealed that she lost 85 lbs in 2018 after undergoing gastric sleeve surgery.

Kelly's mother's experience with Ozempic, however, has been notably different. She has expressed concerns regarding its potential for addiction, particularly in the context of weight loss. Sharon previously opened up about beginning to take Ozempic in December of 2022, and losing 42 lbs since. In a November 2023 interview with The Daily Mail, the former talk show host told the outlet that she "couldn't stop losing weight" after taking it.

"You can lose so much weight and it’s easy to become addicted to that, which is very dangerous," Sharon said. She added: "Don’t give it to teenagers, it’s just too easy."

Ozempic was originally developed to aid those with type-2 diabetes in regulating their blood glucose levels, while also promoting weight loss. Throughout the past year, a multitude of celebrities have captured media attention through their discussions about the drug, whether confessing to its use or expressing their concerns about its safety.
