Customers have been complaining about the rising prices of fast food restaurants for months, and unfortunately, the rapid price increases don’t seem to be slowing down. Fast food fans have taken to a now viral Reddit thread to share their thoughts on the rising cost of eating fast food. Keep reading for more information.
Burger King raises menu pricesIn many states, minimum wage has been increased, and in most states, inflation has affected the price of many essential BK ingredients, like beef and potatoes. However MoneyGeek found that this price increase has been going on for longer than just this year. From 2021 to 2022, prices have increased by 9%, and that number is still rising.
Burger King isn’t the only fast food restaurant that has been raising menu prices. Taco Bell, Wendy’s, and McDonald’s have been doing the same thing. In fact, one McDonald’s customer was charged $16 for a Big Mac combo meal in Idaho, while another customer was charged $18 for the same thing!
