FBI Agents Spotted Outside Ben Affleck's Home
Ben Affleck still lives in Los Angeles after divorcing Jennifer Lopez late last year, specifically in the Brentwood neighborhood. Since moving there, he's kept a low profile...until now. Over the weekend, FBI agents were spotted outside his home, investigating the gate outside of Ben's house with a pair of sheriff deputies.
Ben was not seen inside or outside his home that day, so we're not sure if he knew the FBI would be paying him a visit. That being said, it looks like he hasn't in any trouble after all, according to the statement the FBI released shortly after their visit to Ben's home made headlines.
Unauthorized Drone Activity
According to a press release from the FBI's press relations representative, the crew of officers and agents were investigating an incident completely unrelated to Affleck. "Members of the FBI‘s Ground Intercept task force are conducting activity in the area of the Palisades fire relative to unauthorized drone activity," the statement reads.
"Agents and our local partners may be visible throughout the area, including at various residences, for this reason," the statement continued. Looks like Ben is off the hook...for now! The FBI did not include any further information about the unauthorized drone activity.
