There appear to be a lot of shoe trends taking Hollywood by storm at the moment. From the preppy flat Mary-Janes trend to the slightly more controversial dad sneakers trend, there is a real mix of A-list approved footwear choices right now. And we kind of love them all!
Many celebs are hopping on the ‘ugly-chic’ fisherman sandals trend, proving that they are anything but unattractive. Jennifer Lopez wore a fabulous white pair with a summery white dress when she was cycling in the Hamptons (was this one of her staged photo opportunities, we wonder?!) while Katie Holmes was also recently spotted in a pair of brown fisherman sandals in Manhattan. Both of these ladies have made us fall in love with the trend; as have Hailey Bieber and Gwyneth Paltrow…
Hailey Bieber Loves Fisherman Sandals
If there is one shoe that we associate with the mom-to-be right now, it has to be the fisherman sandal. The Victoria's Secret model has been papped in her trusty black pair of The Row fisherman sandals on so many occasions, and we love every single way she has styled them! This proves that they are super chic, and more importantly, super versatile!
Hailey previously wore her black fisherman sandals from The Row with some white socks underneath, as well as some oversized white long shorts, a cropped white tee, a black belt, and a black Bottega Veneta bag. On another occasion, she wore them with her trusty white socks, as well as some frayed denim shorts, the same white cropped tee, and a light camel trench.
She once again went for the controversial socks and sandals trend when she teamed the sandals with a pair of oversized frayed denim dad shorts, a nude crop top, and a baseball cap.
So Does Gwyneth Paltrow
The Goop founder proudly showed off her black fisherman sandals on Instagram back in June, after previously wearing them on her Italian vacation earlier that month. Nothing proves how much a celeb loves something quite like them wearing the piece more than once in such a short space of time!
The Iron Man actress looked so happy in the picture she shared with her Instagram followers. She could be seen striking a pose with one leg up – presumably to show off her fashionable sandals – and flashing a huge smile for the camera. She styled the sandals with a loose black dress and a gold necklace. Obsessed!
