Your life is busy enough with work, family, friends, and fitness—sometimes, you just don’t have the energy to meal prep a healthy meal that supports your weight loss goals. But don’t let that keep you from shedding pounds! While it can be tempting to reach for fattening processed foods, the important thing to remember is that there are healthy pre-made options out there. Although home-cooked meals are ideal, having healthy, high-protein premade options on hand can make all the difference. Thankfully, Walmart carries convenient meals that fit a weight-loss-friendly diet without sacrificing flavor or nutrition.

Tommy (@tommylamfit), a.k.a. Busy Mom Fitness Coach, recently shared a TikTok highlighting his top Walmart picks for easy, protein-packed meals that can support your weight loss goals. “If you’re too tired to cook and you’re at Walmart, I’m going to show you the best pre-made meals you can get for your weight loss journey,” he says. Below are three of his go-to options for a quick and satisfying meal.

1. CRAVE Sweet and Tangy Pork with Sweet Potatoes

Pork and potatoes that support weight loss? Yes, please! For a macro-friendly, high-protein option, Tommy recommends Sweet and Tangy Pork with Sweet Potatoes from CRAVE. "it’s under 400 calories, 8 grams of fat, and you get 25 grams of protein," he raves. Protein is essential for muscle maintenance and keeping you full longer. "Just pop this into the microwave and you’re off to the races," Tommy tells us.

2. Healthy Choice Tomato Basil Chicken

If you want something saucy and delicious without the extra fat, Tommy suggests skipping options like frozen general Tso's chicken and reaching for Healthy Choice Tomato Basil Chicken instead. With only 220 calories, 7 grams of fat, and a whopping 27 grams of protein, this meal is a low-calorie but nutrient-packed, flavorful choice that will help you stay on track with your weight loss goals.

3. P.F. Chang’s Chicken Fried Rice

Regularly eating fried rice can do a number on your health goals—especially because portion control often goes out the window when we're chowing down. Luckily, Tommy has a healthy, go-to pick for that, too. "If you’re a fried rice fiend like I am, P.F. Chang’s has a pretty solid chicken fried rice," he says. This meal comes in at about 400 calories, 10 grams of fat, and 21 grams of protein, making it a great option when you’re craving takeout but don't want to overload on calories.
