Florence Pugh Stuns In Black Valentino Catsuit On 'Tonight'
Styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray, the Don't Worry Darling actress wowed in a head-turning black crystal embellished long-sleeved catsuit from the Valentino Pre-Fall 2023 collection. The catsuit featured a super-racy open back and wide-leg trousers, which Florence teamed with black platform heels.
The rest of the styling was on point too, as Florence wore her blonde hair in a chic updo, and accessorized with Tiffany & Co jewelry.
Florence Pugh Discusses Working With Her Ex, Zach Braff And Cutting Her Real Hair For 'A Good Person'
The Little Women actress talked about a number of different topics during her interview, including working with ex-boyfriend Zach Braff, 47, on A Good Person, which he reportedly wrote for her, and wanting to cut her hair for the movie.
"I want to talk about your new movie, A Good Person. This is written and directed by Zach Braff, who I love. He's a great guy. So talented, but also super funny," Jimmy said, to which Florence added, "Yeah, let's give him applause. He told me to have fun tonight, but he texted, 'Tell mommy I love him.' It was a typo and actually was Jimmy!" Jimmy then replied, "I was gonna say, 'Did he ever call me mommy?' That's cool."
"Yeah, tell mommy you love him, too. Mommy loves you, Zach!" Florence exclaimed, which amused the audience. Florence then went on to discuss how the Scrubs actor wrote the film, which she is also producing, for her, saying: "I was his muse. I think, also, there's so much ease with reading a script when someone knows how you talk and how far they can, like, push you and what you're capable of doing. So it was just a joy."
*Spoiler alert* Florence also discusses *that* hair cutting scene in the movie, which sees her grief-stricken character Allison cut her own hair, telling Jimmy, "It was my idea."
"I was like, 'Zach, I think I should chop my hair off at the beginning of the movie,'" she continued, adding, "So the point is it’s supposed to be a bit shabby. We were trying to shoot all of it in the one take but we couldn’t, we had to change the setup. So there was one portion for about a half hour where I had one really long strand of hair down to my hip and the rest of it was this short, like a unicorn."
Interestingly, Robert Lugo, head of the movie’s hair department, previously told PopSugar that Florence cutting her real hair wasn’t actually part of the original plan, saying, "I thought we were going to get a custom-made wig." He then admitted that they did practice on a few wigs before they shot the real scene, and added that Florence "wasn’t nervous… It was supposed to be a [expletive] up haircut, so I thought, the more messed up, the better."
