Eggs
Eggs are a great food to start eating regularly if you do not already.
Besides being a source of protein and healthy vitamins and minerals, eggs can even support hair growth. According to Healthline, "Eggs are a great source of protein and biotin, two nutrients that may promote hair growth."
The article explains, "Eating adequate protein is important for hair growth because hair follicles are made of mostly protein. A lack of protein in the diet has been shown to promote hair loss."

Although eggs are great, they are not the only food that can promote hair growth. You can also turn to iron-rich foods.
According to BBC's Good Food, "The hair follicle and root are fed by a nutrient rich blood supply. When iron levels (serum ferritin) fall below a certain point, you may experience anaemia. This disrupts the nutrient supply to the follicle, affecting the hair growth cycle and may result in shedding."
Some good dietary sources of iron include red meat, chicken, and fish, but there are vegetarian options as well. For example, spinach, broccoli, and kale are can also be good options to boost your iron intake.
