For countless football fans, a highlight of NBC’s Sunday Night Football games is hearing Carrie Underwood ring in each  weekly opener with her “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” intro song. The Grammy winner announced this week via Instagram that she is coming back to be the face and voice of the show for her 10th year, and fans can’t get enough of her latest outfit!

The American Idol icon shared an IG post that included a montage of clips of her opening Sunday Night football over the years. In the next pic, Underwood is seen rocking a bedazzled jersey worn as a mini dress with its sultry thigh-skimming hemline. In her caption, the “Before He Cheats” hitmaker wrote, “10 years and we’re still going strong, @snfonnbc! See you Sunday nights beginning in September!”

Underwood garnered thousands of likes and comments as she donned sparkly oversized hoop earrings in the promo pic, along with a dazzling gray jersey with the #10 on it (to commemorate a decade of singing the show theme). The jersey dress was also cinched at the waist with fringe detailing, and the style icon wore her long, blonde hair down, parted in the middle and styled straight for the occasion.

The official ‘SNF on NBC’ account reposted the stunning image of Underwood and captioned it, “This NFL season will mark 10 consecutive years of @carrieunderwood starring in the iconic Sunday Night Football open.” Naturally, both Underwood’s 11.6 million followers and the thousands of users who love the football page came together to leave comments of admiration for her outfit and accomplishment.

“Can’t believe it’s been 10 years already!” wrote one astonished user as another added “love the sparkly jersey!!” Another fan commented that Underwood’s intro theme is their “favorite part of Sundays” while someone else wrote, “Yass once again the Queen of country never disappoints.” We couldn’t have said it any better.
