The promotion is allowing non-paying subscribers access to Netflix Originals like "Stranger Things," "Murder Mystery," "Elite," "Bird Box," "When They See Us," "The Two Popes," "Our Planet," and "Grace and Frankie."

Access to this content is available to non-subscribers across 200 nations and territories.

According to TechCrunch, you can view this free content online through web browsers.

iOS users cannot watch the shows on their phones, but Android users can.

In a statement to TechCrunch, a Netflix spokesperson explained, "We’re looking at different marketing promotions to attract new members and give them a great Netflix experience."

It definitely seems like an effective strategy to gain new subscribers--especially considering only the first episodes of the shows will be available for free.
