Yikes! This Frozen Chicken Is Being Recalled From Costco Because Of ‘Sharp Hard Plastic Pieces’

The affected products are "80-oz. plastic bag packages" that contain 20 pieces of "CHICKEN PATTIES BREADED CHICKEN BREAST PATTIES WITH RIB MEAT" with the best-by date of "08/11/23," the establishment number "P-33901," and lot code "3*2223**" printed in inkjet lettering on the back edge of the packaging. The following number can also be found beneath the barcode, "7527899724."

These items were shipped to Costco distribution centers in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Utah, and Washington. They may have been "further distributed to Costco retail locations," The Street adds. The problem was discovered when the company notified officials that it received consumer complaints reporting hard clear plastic embedded in fully cooked, frozen, breaded chicken breast patty products with a best by date of Aug. 11, 2023.
