Frozen Chicken Strips Are Being Pulled From Grocery Stores Due To Possible Plastic Pieces

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Safety Inspection Services recently revealed that Conagra Brands, a leading food manufacturer, is currently undertaking a large-scale recall of their frozen chicken strips.

It is paramount that the general public remain informed and vigilant in regards to this recall, which is why we have included all the pertinent information available to us at this time.

Conagra Brands Recalls Banquet Chicken Strips Meals Due To Potential Plastic Pieces

More than 245,000 pounds of these products are being pulled from store shelves and warehouses due to the possibility that they could contain pieces of plastic, as reported by CNN.

The affected Banquet Chicken Strips Meal products have "best if used by dates" of Dec. 11, 2024, Jan. 1, 2025 or Jan. 7, 2025. The lot numbers to keep an eye out for are 5009317120, 5009319220, and 5009319820.

According to the USDA, there has been "at least one" reported injury. If you happen to possess the product that has been flagged for recall, it is highly recommended that you dispose of it or return it to the store you purchased it from  as soon as possible.

These frozen meals can often be found at large retailers like Walmart and Stop and Shop and come in 8.9-ounce containers.
