The Frozen Vegetable The FDA Wants You To Stop Buying ASAP—Food Lion And Kroger Have Them!

Adding frozen vegetables to your meals can be a great way to fit some nutrients into your diet in a pinch. However, if you recently bought Kroger brand or Food Lion brand frozen vegetables, including mixed veggies and sweet corn, you should be aware of a recent recall on these items. Twin City Foods frozen vegetables recalled at Kroger and Food Lion

Kroger shoppers, listen up! Frozen mixed vegetables and sweet corn sold at this grocery store, as well as Food Lion, have recently been recalled. According to The Food and Drug Administration, these foods could potentially have been contaminated with Listeria. This is one of many recent recalls due to possible Listeria contamination.

This is a voluntary recall from Twin City Foods, who packages these veggies. Recalled items include:

    Food Lion Mixed Vegetables Carrots, Corn, Green Beans & PeasFood Lion Super Sweet Cut Yellow CornKroger Mixed Vegetables Carrots, Super Sweet Corn, Green Beans & Green PeasKroger Super Sweet CornSignature Select Golden Corn Super Sweet

Luckily, there have been no reported illnesses from any of these products thus far. However, if you are in possession of one of these products, you should either discard of them or return them to the point of purchase for a full refund.
