Guava

Vitamin C is an important nutrient for healthy hair growth, and guava is an excellent source of it. In fact, per Eat This, Not That!, one guava contains 4 to 5 times as much vitamin C as an orange. Plus, according to the article, a study published in the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology found that vitamin C supplements promote "significant hair growth in women with temporary hair thinning."

Healthline explains that vitamin C impacts hair growth in several ways. Mainly, vitamin C helps your body form collagen, a necessary component of hair structure. "Vitamin C also helps your body absorb iron, a mineral necessary for hair growth," the article adds.
