Gal Gadot recently opened up more about her ordeal of having a blood clot in her brain during her latest pregnancy. The Wonder Woman star, 39, recounted this challenging period while speaking with Jimmy Fallon on the March 10th episode of The Tonight Show.

The mom of four (who shares daugters Alma, 13, Maya, 8, Daniella, 3, and Ori, 13 months, with her husband Jaron Varsano) revealed, “All of a sudden I understand what it means to be scared to death.”

The Heart of Stone actress continued, "I had a brain clot and it was a huge one. I had three. When I do something I do it all the way, you know? I had major headaches for three weeks and I’d seen doctors. They’re like it’s probably a migraine, it’s the hormones."

Gadot shared that although the initial doctors she saw were not worried about her severe headaches, her mother urged her to get an MRI after the pain continued.

She shared, "They found this horrible thing and we were rushed to the hospital, and they got the baby out immediately. I had the most amazing team." Gadot highlighted the reasons for sharing her story more than a year after it happened.

"I’m on the other side of it," the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice alum noted. "I’m talking about it just because if someone out there in the world is going to have the same thing and because she heard my story she’s going to get checked then I’ve done my part."

She added, "Our bodies are always communicating with us, we just need to listen and get checked. If anything you’re going to over-check yourself but it’s better to over-check than to not check."

Gadot's recent account appears only a few months after she initially opened up about her experiences while looking back on 2024 on social media. She described how the anxiety was justified by the birth of her healthy daughter.

In her December 2024 Instagram post, Gadot wrote, "My daughter, Ori, was born during that moment of uncertainty and fear."

She went on, "Her name, meaning ‘my light,’ wasn’t chosen by chance. Before the surgery, I told Jaron that when our daughter arrived, she would be the light waiting for me at the end of this tunnel."
