Pre-Packaged Sandwiches Are Being Pulled From Grocery Stores In Michigan For Undeclared Sesame Allergens

Gaws Gourmet foods, a delicatessen located in Marysville, Michigan, has issued a recall on five varieties of their breakfast sandwiches due to the fact that they failed to declare sesame as an allergen, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reports. If you have food allergies, you know how important it is be cautious and check nutrition labels, so a mistake like this could put many at risk.
This recall includes three of their 8″ deli subs and two types of bagel sandwiches, all of which “were distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of sesame.” Find all of the details below.
