Gossip Sites Report That Gigi Hadid Doesn't Support Taylor & Travis
Many gossip sites like US Weekly and Perez Hilton have published stories claiming that the model isn't supportive of her BFF's new relationship. In an article published last month, Perez Hilton made some pretty outlandish statements, citing a source that said, "One of the reasons Gigi hasn't attended any of Travis' games is because she doesn't agree with the way Taylor has been acting with [him]."
"She feels like Taylor is doing too much, too soon."
The article also targeted Selena Gomez, another one of Taylor's famous pals, writing that she is "similarly skeptical of the fast-moving fling." But, Gigi has since shut down these rumors, once and for all.
Gigi Hadid Shuts Down Rumors
The Perez Hilton Instagram account posted a photo promoting their article about Gigi, and in a rare public response, the mother-of-one commented on the photo to shut down the claims.
"I'm a couple days late to this tag.. but didn't the press try this last week w Selena?" she wrote. "Let it be.. we are all over the moon for our girl. Period." The supermodel added a flaming red heart for good measure, defending herself and her pop star bestie.
The comment has garnered 5,725 likes—the post itself only has 687 likes—so clearly people are in support of Ms. Hadid. Many fans even responded to her comment, writing things like, "thank you so much for saying something! Was getting tired of these posts!"
"YESSS GIGI!!! End his a**!" another person wrote.
"TELL THEM BABE!" a third fan responded. "We love you!!!"
"SAY IT LOUDER SIS!" another fan added.
