Fans Think Gigi Hadid’s Plastic Raincoat She Wore For A Perfume Campaign Looks Like A ‘Furniture Cover’: ‘Can Hear The Coat Rubbing Together’

Gigi Hadid embraced spring vibes in her latest Rabanne campaign!
At a pop-up event celebrating the brand’s Million Gold For Her fragrance, the mother of one effortlessly pulled off the butter-yellow trend, stunning in a sleeveless yellow chiffon maxi dress. She layered the look with a sheer PVC raincoat, featuring a turned-up collar and a belted waist.
Completing the ensemble, she paired gold boots with the statement look while elegantly holding a bottle of the perfume in her hand.
However, some of her fans weren’t too impressed with the outfit and jokingly compared it to different objects.
On Reddit, some fans commented on what they thought the plastic raincoat resembled:
“Looks good, but all I can hear is the sound of that coat rubbing together, lol.”
“It’s an interesting idea, but it kind of reminds me of the plastic wrapping around grocery store bouquets or cellophane around edible arrangements. Maybe a different color would be better.”
“Grandmas love this one trick to keep sofas pristine!”
“The proportions seem off to me. I’d like it better if the coat were longer, about the same length as the dress.”
“The color of the raincoat reminds me of a smoke stain.”
“I…don’t like this whatsoever. She looks like she’s wearing one of those thin plastic bags the store offers for you to put vegetables in when grocery shopping.”
“Furniture cover?”
“That raincoat would be fogged up seconds after I put it on.”
“Looks like a butterscotch disc wrapper.”
Love it or hate it, Hadid has never been one to shy away from bold fashion choices.
In a recent Vogue interview, Gigi also shared how her boyfriend, Bradley Cooper, has been a source of encouragement and support lately, helping her to try new things.
