Gigi Hadid beat the New York City heatwave in style last week when she stepped out wearing a mermaid-esque ensemble that was pretty much a walking embodiment of summer.
The 24-year-old attended the launch party of her Michael Kors Wonderlust fragrance campaign wearing a tan slip dress with feather detailing from the Fall 2019 Michael Kors Collection, of course.
The supermodel looked stunning in the golden-tan slip dress, lined with a row of delicate feathers that showed off her famous figure while still keeping things minimal in the scorching temps. Her summery accessories are what really stole the show, though.

She opted for a kitschy seashell-shaped purse by WALD Berlin, complete with pearl details, which elevated the slinky slip-dress to theme-appropriate perfection. Hadid also opted for a pair of brown patent heeled boots — an unusual choice for the summer heat — but one that worked really well with the contrast in texture.
Hadid rounded out her launch party look by wearing her hair in a sleek beach-ready braid, gold jewelry, and warm-toned makeup.
