Gisele Bündchen And Her Children Allegedly Felt Affected By Tom Brady's Viral Netflix 'Roast' Special Jokes
The Kia Forum in Inglewood, California played host to the Netflix live special titled The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady, where the retired football player was the center of attention.
Brady was humbled by humorous jabs (many about his divorce) from his pals and former teammates such as Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman, Drew Bledsoe and Randy Moss. Brady's famous friends like comedians Nikki Glaser and Kevin Hart and rumored flame Kim Kardashian also gathered to participate in the roast.
Bündchen, the insider told the mag, was "deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on Sunday evening's roast show."
They added that "as always, [Bündchen's] priority is to support her children who were affected by the irresponsible content that was broadcasted."
The Vogue cover girl and Super Bowl champion share two kids; Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11. Bündchen and Brady split in 2022, divorcing after being married for 13 years. The record-breaking former quarterback is also dad to son Jack, 15, whom he shares with his ex, actress Bridget Moynahan.
During the roast, Hart, 44, taunted Brady for his former spouse Bündchen's new romantic relationship with her jiu-jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente. Glaser, 39, also referenced Brady's divorce, telling him: "You have seven rings. Well, eight now that Gisele gave hers back." Former New England Patriots teammates of Brady — Bledsoe, 52, and Edelman, 37 — also took swipes at his split from Bündchen.
According to a tipster who sat down with People, while the former Victoria's Secret Angel was said to be upset by the jokes, she has a lot more on her mind this week.
"This past week, Gisele has been tirelessly dedicated to aiding those in need in her home state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, which is grappling with the worst flooding in its history," the source told the publication.
They added: "She was concerned about family affected by the devastating floods, so to hear her life being joked about was very disappointing."
On May 4th, Bündchen took to Instagram to share a call-to-action with her 22.7 million followers. Her post detailed ways in which individuals can support relief efforts for the natural disaster that has ravaged her native country.
Partnering with the Brazil Foundation for the Light Alliance Emergency Fund, Bündchen continues to spearhead a fundraising campaign to aid those affected by the disaster.
