Father’s Day tributes may be filling up your social media feeds today, but there is one touching tribute that may actually be worth reading: singer Gwen Stefani’s sweet stepdad message to husband Blake Shelton. Seriously, you have to see this!
Gwen gave fans another inside glimpse of their blissfully blended family on Instagram, and they can’t get enough. The “Don’t Speak” singer couldn’t help but open up on the platform Sunday to honor Blake for the important role he plays in raising her sons Kingston, 16, Zuma, 13 and Apollo, 8. She even alluded to the “ups and downs,” of their longstanding relationship. We love her honesty!
Although Blake is not the biological father to her three sons (ex Gavin Rossdale is), she felt he deserved to be honored on the holiday, and we have to say that we agree after seeing these pics of what a hands-on step dad Blake seems to be!
"Happy Father's day @blakeshelton," she started the June 19th post. "We all love u sooooo much," she continued on the gallery of pics, including a black and white photo showing the entire clan.
"God really gave me you for the ups and downs," she added in the emotional post, adding six sweet and silly photos of Blake snuggling, tossing a baseball, and even enjoying a water gun fight with her sons.

Fans couldn't help but gush about the "fam goals," in the comments section. "Dad who stepped up," wrote one follower. "He has the biggest heart!" noted another. The GXVE clean makeup line founder really seems to have hit the stepdad jackpot with this one!
This isn't the first time that Gwen has gotten candid about how her "Blakey" stepped up to the plate to parent her sons since the couple shared their lives together. "He is a good dad, actually," Gwen revealed during a "Today" show appearance in 2019. "He’s been helping me out a lot," she revealed of the transition from single parent to Blake taking on that role.
Though Blake has joked about being a 'lazy deadbeat husband,' clearly that isn't the case by Gwen's glowing review.
Shelton himself has gushed about parenting Gwen's kids to the press on multiple occasions. The "God's Country" singer told "Sounds Like Nashville" about his inspiration for stepping into the step parent role. "I have a stepfather in my life who’s one of my heroes. I love my stepfather and I look up to him and he’s like a father to me, so I have a good inspiration in my life for how to do this and the kind of stepdad I want to be," he told the radio station in January. "And I take it very serious." Clearly!

The adorable couple, who seem to be milking their newlywed status with frequent PDA, will be returning to the 'Voice' stage together when Gwen reclaims her judges' chair from Kelly Clarkson for season 22 of the popular competition series this fall. We can't for an entire season of their #couplegoals!
