Gwen Stefani‘s surprising move into country music has got a lot of fans talking, and now it looks like she might get an award for it as well.
That’s right. Gwen and her beau Blake Shelton were recently nominated for Collaborative Video of the Year for their “Nobody But You” duet–and we couldn’t be more excited for her.

On September 23, country star Luke Bryan announced the full list of CMT nominees on Instagram, and Gwen and Blake were among the contenders for their music video, marking Gwen's first CMT Award nomination.
With that in mind, the "No Doubt" singer had every reason to celebrate. She shared the news on her Instagram, writing, "just when u think your life is crazy enough!! THIS IS SO UNEXPECTED--AND AMAZING!!! Wow."
Shelton also congratulated his girlfriend for the nomination, writing, "Congrats @gwenstefani on your first @CMT Awards nomination!!!!!"
That's not all; he also encouraged fans to vote for their video. "Y'all get those votes in!" he continued.
Stefani fans also celebrated the nomination. One wrote, "Whoaaaaaa, now that is some great news!!! And anybody who thinks that Gwen can’t do country, well......here is proof that she can!!!"
Another fan tweeted, "Omg, Congratulations @gwenstefani on your CMT award nomination for your video, “Nobody But You” with your hubby @blakeshelton!!! It’s a beautiful song & video. I know you guys are going to win. Congratulations again!"
(Don't worry, you didn't miss anything; the couple is not married yet.)
Although we won't know if the couple wins until the award show in late October, there's still reason to celebrate the popular video (which has racked up over 45 million views since its January release) and nomination.
