Gwen Stefani Dons Gothic-Chic Lace Get-Up On Jimmy Kimmel Live!
To accessorize her ensemble, the No Doubt frontwoman added shiny chunky gold bracelets, matching name plate necklaces, shiny stud earrings and a black bow in her hair. For her glam, Stefani tied her blonde tresses in a slicked-back ponytail. As for her makeup look, the GXVE mogul sported black winged liner, shimmering eyeshadow, sky-high lashes, rosy blush on her high cheekbones and a glossy pink pout.
During her appearance, Stefani told host Jimmy Kimmel the backstory behind a hilarious photo of her husband, Shelton, 48, riding a bike during their trip to Italy. “Look how cute my husband is,” she said, showing the picture and noting that they took a family trip to Europe for his first time there. “You could tell, he has the energy of like, ‘my wife told me to do this,’” Stefani said.
She added: “He had never…been to Europe. I swear. I’ve been threatening him for like 9 years: ‘I’m taking you. I’m taking you. I’m taking you, and then it was his birthday. It was my oldest’s 18th birthday, my other’s 16th birthday. I was like, ‘we’re going.’” The "Sweet Escape" artist revealed that she meticulously planned their family vacation for nearly a year, and they had an incredible time. She added that Shelton absolutely "better" join them on another trip.
Stefani and Shelton initially met as coaches on The Voice in 2014. Their romance blossomed publicly in 2015, culminating in their engagement five years later. In July 2021, they tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at Shelton’s ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Shelton has since fully embraced his role as a stepfather to Stefani’s three children. Stefani also shared with Kimmel, 56, her exhilarating experience of performing at Coachella earlier this year. She also reminisced about her memorable encounter with Snoop Dogg on The Voice.
This season, the ska-punk crooner has rejoined the show as a coach, alongside the iconic rapper Snoop, the smooth-voiced Michael Bublé, and the legendary Reba McEntire.
