Stefani will rejoin the show as a judge along with boyfriend Blake Shelton as well as Kelly Clarkson and John Legend. The singer will be taking over Nick Jonas' spot.
Previously, Stefani appeared regularly as a judge on the show in seasons 7, 9, 12, and 17. She also mentored on the show in seasons 8 and 10.
The Voice shared the exciting news on Twitter and Stefani was quick to respond, tweeting, "Cannot wait!!" and sharing the hashtag #TeamGwen.
Stefani has previously opened up about her role on The Voice while also performing in Vegas. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight last September, she explained, "I didn't expect to be doing [the Vegas show] and The Voice at the same time. I just feel like I'm alive in a way I've never been before, because I have to be! Because doing both is a lot."
Stefani is currently quarantining with Shelton at his Oklahoma ranch, and the couple recently shared a picture celebrating that their duet "Nobody But You" had reached no. 1 on Billboard's country music charts.
