Gwen Stefani Welcomed To The Hall Of Fame
While her outfits may be questionable to some people, there's no denying the mom of three's success in Hollywood. Gwen Stefani received a well-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, October 19th. She marked this honor by sharing the moment with her three sons and her husband, Blake Shelton. She rocked a sparkling Christian Cowan minidress adorned with sizable star-shaped sequins. 'The Voice' coach complemented her look with a pair of metallic Le Silla slouch boots.
Blake Shelton delivered a moving speech that brought tears to Gwen Stefani's eyes as she was honored with a star.
"The first time that I ever met Gwen was in 2014," he said. "She wasn't like any other famous person that I had ever met before. She drove herself to work in a black minivan with car seats in it. She didn't roll in with security. She came in with a baby and two little boys, which at the time worked like security because nobody was going near. It was chaos."
He then transitioned to emphasizing Gwen's primary role as a mother and commended her for prioritizing her children in the demanding world of Hollywood. "It was clear to me that she was a mother first and foremost over anything else in the world -- that was her number one job," Blake noted. "And now standing here almost 10 years later after I first met her, I can say without question that being a mother is still the most important thing in her life. And I gotta tell you all, that's rare in this business."
