Speaking to friend and author Amy Griffin, the mom of two said, “That was when I told you that I had done the therapeutic MDMA with the therapist… and I remember because you also said, ‘Oh, your relationship with your mom is so gentle.’ Remember, you’re like, ‘What, what shifted? You know, you’re not annoyed with your mom anymore.’ And I was like, Well, I had this incredible experience, and I told you about it.”
Back in 2020, Gwyneth had also shared that she’d undergone MDMA with her then-boyfriend-now-husband, Brad Falchuk. She described it as “a very, very emotional experience.”
