Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s peaceful “conscious uncoupling” plan seems to continue working after ten years!
In an interview for this month’s issue of Vanity Fair, the actress recently opened up about how close she and the Coldplay frontman have remained since their split and how they continue to be solid co-parents to their two kids, Apple and Moses.
The Academy Award winner insists everything has been going great for her and her ex-husband, despite previous reports that she had been meddling in his and Dakota Johnson’s relationship. However, now that Chris is allegedly engaged to Dakota, some sources say Gwyneth may be a little too comfortable around them. Read more about the situation below.
Gwyneth claims that Chris is there for her 'through anything'
The Goop founder has a busy year ahead of her, with a new movie, Marty Supreme, coming out this winter and continuing to run her lifestyle brand. Luckily, in her recent Vanity Fair piece, she mentioned she'll always have her ex to lean on, even if he's with someone else.
"We are a complete family," she said. "He is there for me through anything and vice versa."
The former couple have always been relatively open when discussing their relationship, which lasted over 10 years, and their eventual divorce. In 2014, the pair first boldly announced their separation in an infamous blog post on the Goop website titled "Conscious Uncoupling."
They finalized their divorce in 2015 and began co-parenting their children, remaining transparent about their status as friends.
Chris and Dakota feel Gwenyth has 'overstepped' her boundaries
Gwenyth married writer and director Brad Falchuk in 2018, while Chris entered a relationship with the 50 Shades Of Grey star in late 2017. The two exes gave everyone the impression that they all got along great, but some sources say Gwenyth gets a little too involved.
Engagement rumors have been circulating the Grammy award winner and Madame Web actress for years now after she was seen wearing a ring on her left finger. They are allegedly taking their time planning their highly-anticipated wedding but can't seem to do it without input from his ex-wife.
Insiders close to the couple revealed that Gwenyth has been "way overstepping her boundaries" in regards to their relationship and future marriage. The sources explained that the Iron Man star not only approves of their relationship but has been pressuring them to walk down the aisle as soon as possible.
Gwenyth's family 'continues to evolve'
Because everyone loves to keep tabs on her relationship with her ex, some forget that she now has a larger, blended family than she used to. She is also a stepmother to Brad's two children, Isabella and Brody.
No matter what, the lifestyle guru is thankful for her blended family. In her cover story, she talks about how she is happy to still be on good terms with Chris, but she also has good relationships with her current stepchildren and her husband's ex-wife, Suzanne Bukinik.
