Just last week, Gwyneth Paltrow arrived at Sydney Airport only hours before her scheduled appearance to launch Jackie O Henderson’s Besties business. Shielded from the rainy Aussie weather under an umbrella, the Academy Award-winning actress was seen wearing an oversized green raincoat as she walked her way out of the airport and into a car which was waiting for her arrival.
Her comfortable outfit was rounded out with loose beige pants and an ivory shirt underneath her jacket, adding to her chic ensemble. Although it wasn’t sunny, the Goop mogul rocked dark sunglasses, left her blonde hair down, and rocked a makeup-free look which prompted fans to ask how she stays looking so young!
Gwyneth Paltrow Arrives For 'Besties' Launch Event
The Iron Man star flew to Sydney to participate in the launch of Henderson's Besties business endeavor at the Aware Super Theatre. Jackie O and her best friend, Gemma O'Neill, are the founders behind the concept of Besties, described as a “space that gives you and your BFF the perfect opportunity to spend more time with each other.”
Upon arriving in Sydney, the actress was captured as she ventured to the Botanic Gardens and later enjoyed a meal at the renowned celebrity chef Neil Perry's eatery, Next Door, in Double Bay.
On Saturday, she uploaded a slideshow of photos where she once again showed off her makeup-free face in a closeup shot of her posing near the Sydney Opera House.
Among the pictures were several images of food the mom of two indulged in such as lobster, thin-cut fries, and a classic burger.
Many fans took to the comments section to praise the actress for her natural appearance. “No way you’re 51,” said one fan. Another user said, “You are glowing, Gwyneth. Enjoy your time in Australia.”
Gwyneth Paltrow Opens Up About Aging For Bustle Magazine
Speaking with Bustle recently, the businesswoman talked about being in her 50s and how it's been different than her 40s.
"Fifty was great. I was concerned I was going to feel a lot of grief or fear because I remember when I turned 40, the anticipation… I really flipped out. I didn’t have that at all at 50. I was like, I love my friends. I love my husband. I love my kids. Yeah, my job is hard. But this is good.”
As someone who runs a brand that's heavily focused on skincare and wellness, Gwyneth shared how her own skin has changed over the years, especially being under the spotlight.
"I think that’s also why turning 40 was so jarring, because that’s when I started to notice crow’s feet and this and that. It’s so interesting to me how until you have that, you somehow think you’re never going to have that. I am constantly in an exercise of embracing where I am and also embracing this painful thing of not being young and beautiful. Sometimes I almost think of it as a person that I’m hugging, like, “This is supposed to happen. This is OK.”
