Tech Expert Nehal Kalra at Wedo Web Apps says it’s understandable why battery power is a big concern for iPhone users. “I understand why we need to talk about having a longer-lasting battery life because if you do not have Apple Care replacing your iPhone's battery can cost you up to $69,” Kalra says. “For this purpose, I think iPhone's battery life optimization can be done through some software or lifestyle hacks.”
One hack Kalra recommends is enabling Optimized Battery Charging. “Enabling the Optimized Battery Charging option is an essential step towards your efforts to improve your iPhone's battery power,” Kalra says. “This is a feature that allows your iPhone to learn your charging schedule. If you leave your iPhone on charging overnight, it will charge to 80%, and then it will only continue to charge once the battery reduces from 80%.”
To enable this feature simply follow these steps: Settings>Battery>Battery Health>Optimized Battery charging.
Speaking of hacks that will give your phone back so much battery power, there’s one that you should always be taking advantage of because it brilliantly stops battery drainage dead in its tracks: Low Power Mode.
“Typically, Low Power Mode enables you to use your phone while saving up to 30% of the power,” says Olivia Tan, co-founder of CocoFax. “You will notice that once you activate the low power mode, your screen dims. It also turns off some features that run in the background, like automatic downloads. One thing that you will love is that your phone's performance will be optimized. To activate this tool, go to Battery Settings, then find the Low Power Mode. Make sure to turn it on.”
Two simple tips — two simple and effective ways to automatically save your phone so much battery power and save yourself a world of frustration.
