Halle Berry just celebrated her 57th birthday and took to Instagram last week to discuss the process of aging. The Oscar winner appeared in the video makeup-free, wearing a cozy shawl and headscarf.

While the Moonfall star was very open when it came to talking about growing older, she remains “ageless” in the eyes of many of her devoted fans. Her comment section was flooded with admiration for her “radiant,” “glowing,” and supple skin, and her “all natural beauty” was widely appreciated.

On August 28th, she uploaded the clip for her 8.5 million followers and said: “I am aging. Let me tell you, I am aging, but I’m going down fighting.” The X-Men alum continued: “I’m going to accept that aging, I’m going to keep doing all my supplements.”

The Catwoman actress enthusiastically shared her new role as Chief Communication Officer for Pendulum, a probiotic company that has won her heart. She referred to this as her “side hustle” and expressed her excitement about being a part of the team. “I loved it so much I reached out to the company and asked to be a part of it,” Berry noted.

The mom of two captioned her post: “Happy Sunday everybody, I’m talking everything gut health, glucose control and more as many of you have been asking me about my @pendulumlifeco journey! I’m so happy some of you have already ordered our products.”

While Berry is clearly embracing aging and loving herself at every age, many fans in the post’s comment section were quick to point out just how “stunning” and “youthful-looking” Berry is in her more casual, stripped-back looks. “You never age,” one wrote as another added: “you’re aging backwards.” Someone else chimed in: “natural beauty!” Others conveyed their thoughts on her video with heart-eyes, red hearts and fire emojis.

The Monster’s Ball star noted that “probiotics are a big part” of how she’s made her diet healthier, and she uses them to help “metabolize my food.” Berry also said that “my sugar’s better, so that I stay healthy. That’s how we fight that in 2023.” She also revealed that she takes “a ton of vitamins” such as “calcium for my bones” as “we go down that path of life.”

Berry, who has diabetes, joked that she’s “pretty much a pharmacy” and always avoids processed sugar in her diet. “I think that’s helped me over the years, actually, as well. Having that disease has actually made me healthier than many people that I actually know, because I’ve always been very mindful of that,” she told fans.

In a recent interview with Women’s Health, Berry shared that she feels like “her best self now” at 57. “I have the most to offer. I have zero blanks to give anymore. I’m solidly in my womanhood. I finally realize what I have to say is valuable, even if no one else agrees.”

She continued: “I am challenging everything I thought I knew about menopause. Things like: ‘Your life is over.’ ‘You are disposable.’ ‘Society no longer has a place for you.’ ‘You should retire.’ ‘You should pack it up.'”

The Bruised actress has two children: daughter Nahla Ariela, who is 15 years old, and whom she shares with her ex Gabriel Aubry, and son Maceo-Robert, who is 9 years old and was fathered by her ex-husband Olivier Martinez.

Berry, who has been dating musician and Grammy winner Van Hunt since 2020 added: “The most important thing about owning your sexuality as a woman is accepting the station you’re at — and embracing that. Own wherever you are. That’s where I’m at.”
