We’re Still Obsessed With The Plunging Blazer And Sheer Corset Halle Berry Wore—’You Go Hot Mama!’

We’ve been raving about Jessica Chastain’s look at the Drama League Awards in New York, where she teamed a floral Prabal Gurung power suit with a sexy black sheer lace corset underneath, instead of a more conventional shirt or blouse. And then we wondered if she was actually inspired by Halle Berry, who sported a similar trend back in February!

The 56-year-old Catwoman actress wore a stunning Zuhair Murad embellished suit when she attended the Looking Beyond LA charity luncheon back in February, 2023. Her fans couldn’t help but rave about her seriously seductive look in the comments section, saying things like, “You go hot mama,” and “You are serving,” followed by four fire emojis, among many other compliments.

She teamed her striking suit with a sexy corset underneath, as well as a pair of sky-high Stuart Weitzman stiletto booties. And it was the booties that may have slightly contributed to her taking a tumble as she made her way to the stage. A graceful tumble which she handled like a pro, may we add!

The Bruised actress didn’t actually try to hide her fall either, as she shared a video of herself taking the aforementioned tumble – or doing a “face plant” to use her words – while heading to the podium with her close friend Shilla Hekmat to make a speech.

“Sometime you bust your [expletive]” the actress captioned the video on Saturday, February 11th. “What happened was… My dear friend @shillahekmatpiano invited me to speak at her charity event celebrating a wonderful organization called @lookingbeyondla that raises money for children with special needs… then that happened!!! I face planted. If you can go to lookingbeyondla[dot]com and donate. Children are worth it!”

Halle laughed into her hands while everyone in the room applauded once she stood at the podium following her fall. The Monster’s Ball actress then joked, “Ok, if I see this on the internet, Van’s coming for you,” in reference to her boyfriend Van Hunt.

“You are Catwoman. You have 9 lives!” exclaimed one fan in the comments section to the video. “You handled that the only way you could. Laugh it off and get back to business,” said another fan. “Bruised 2?” they added, followed by the crying laughing emoji. “You’re a champ. Getting up and delivering that speech,” praised another, followed by the hand clapping emoji and the fire emoji. “It’s not how you fall. It’s how you get back up and still remain perfectly beautiful,” noted another. “You still remained elegant. I only see a boss lady!” they added.
