Harry Styles had a big night at the 2023 Grammys— from winning awards for his record, Harry’s House to having a sweet (and instantly viral) run-in with his ex, Taylor Swift.

Styles, 29, took home trophies for ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘Best Pop Vocal Album’ during the 65th Annual awards ceremony, and fans immediately noticed that the “As It Was” hitmaker and the “Anti-Hero” singer, 33, looked happy to see each other in a sweet documented moment together.

In fan-shot videos of Steve Lacy’s performance of “Bad Habit” at the show, Swift can be seen getting up from her table and heading over to Styles’. The “Lavender Haze” singer then tapped the “Late Night Talking” crooner on his shoulder, hugged him and was all smiles as the two shared a friendly chat. They were also snapped fist bumping. (No bad blood here!)

Swift and Styles (who were affectionately dubbed ‘Haylor’ back in the day) famously dated from October 2012 to January 2013, and Styles was reportedly an inspiration for Swift when she wrote songs from her 2014 record, 1989, such as the aptly-titled track, “Style” and “Out of the Woods.” Fans were (understandably) stunned to see the two reunite ten years after their brief romance, and many— overjoyed— as seen on Twitter:

Later on during the event, Styles picked up the two major awards for his third studio LP (which he released in May of 2022), and Swift gave him a standing ovation, cheering him on and smiling during the entirety of his acceptance speeches.

As he began his speech for the coveted AOTY honor, Styles shared his appreciation for his fellow nominees (he was up against ABBA for Voyage, Adele for 30, Bad Bunny for Un Verano Sin Ti, Beyoncé for RENAISSANCE, Mary J. Blige for Good Morning Gorgeous, Brandi Carlile for In These Silent Days, Coldplay forMusic Of The Spheres, Kendrick Lamar forMr. Morale & The Big Steppers, and Lizzo for Special).

Styles stressed that there is “no such thing as bests in music” when accepting the major ‘Album of the Year’ award. “S—t. Well, s—t,” Styles said when he first approached the mic.”I’ve been so, so inspired by every artist in this category with me. At a lot of different times in my life, I listened to everyone in this category when I’m alone. And I think like on nights like tonight, it’s obviously so important for us to remember that there is no such thing as bests in music,” he continued.

“I don’t think any of us sit in the studio thinking, making decisions based on what is going to get us one of these,” Styles went on, humbly taken aback by his huge win. “This is really, really kind. I’m so, so grateful… I’m just so — This doesn’t happen to people like me very often. And this is so, so nice. Thank you very, very much.” (Congrats!)
