nuts

1. Nuts

According to Dr. Josh Axe, it's more effective to keep track of the nutrients you're getting from the foods you eat rather than keeping a constant count of the carbs you consume. Josh recommends eating sprouted nuts and seeds to burn fat fast.

broccoli

2. Broccoli

Vegetables are also a great source of healthy carbs, especially dark green vegetables. According to Dr. Mark Hyman, broccoli is one of the best vegetables that you can eat. "High-fiber, low-sugar carbs, such as broccoli, are slowly digested and don’t lead to blood sugar and insulin spikes," Mark says.

Ezekiel bread

3. Ezekiel Bread

While white bread isn't the ideal carb for weight loss, Dr. Eric Berg says that Ezekiel bread is. According to Dr. Eric Berg, Ezekiel bread is wheat-free and made from sprouted grains. "Unlike heavily processed breads and pastas that sit on grocery store shelves for months at a time without going bad, Ezekiel bread is fresh and preservative free which is nothing short of amazing for your diet and weight loss journey," Eric says.

quinoa

4. Quinoa

Quinoa is one superfood that you just can't seem to stop hearing about, right? That's because it works when it comes to weight loss. According to Dr. Joseph Mercola, quinoa is a good starchy carbohydrate. "It’s best to focus on fresh, minimally processed foods that have their carbohydrates encased in cellular compartments, which will not only have a lower carbohydrate density but will also likely be accompanied by lots of beneficial micronutrients," Joseph says.
