Heidi Klum‘s stunning physique has always been admired, and the 50-year-old supermodel recently opened up about her health and eating habits on her Instagram Stories.
In response to questions from her 11.4 million followers, the former Victoria’s Secret model shared, as reported by The Daily Mail, that she starts her day with a low-fat and high-protein breakfast of three poached eggs in warm chicken broth.
Though the runway icon didn’t go into further detail, the outlet’s reports suggest that Klum consumes no more than 900 calories a day. In a separate IG Story post, she also confirmed that she weighs 138 pounds.

While often sharing clips of herself exercising with her social media followers, Klum has also been forthright about her dietary preferences and tendency to eschew takeout whenever possible. In July 2018, she sat down with Entertainment Tonight and said: “I don’t really have a specific diet, I just eat very healthfully.”
Klum added: “I start with great smoothies in the morning. I also have four children so we cook a lot. I don’t really eat out a lot. I think when you eat out a lot or order food in a lot it gets a little tricky because you don’t know what people are putting in there.”

Klum disclosed to the publication that she prepares “three big meals” on a daily basis for her household, comprising of her husband, musician Tom Kaulitz and her children Leni, 19, Henry, 17, Johan, 16, and Lou, 13 (she shares her kids with ex-husband Seal).
Klum’s family typically consumes their final meal at approximately 6 p.m. every night, allowing for adequate digestion before retiring to bed, she noted. Earlier this summer, Klum and Kaulitz, 33, journeyed to the picturesque island of Capri, Italy.
