Here's How Many Steps Jessica Simpson Says She Walked Every Day To Lose 100-Lb

Jessica Simpson lost 100lbs after welcoming three children—and she’s not letting anyone forget it! Last week, the actress uploaded a pair of photos to @JessicaSimpsonStyle showing off her long, toned legs, a result of walking 14K steps every day.

Simpson has three kids with her husband Eric Johnson: Maxwell, 11, Ace, 10, and Birdie, 4. After giving birth to Birdie, she revealed that she weighed 240 pounds at her heaviest, and in the following months, worked really hard to get back her thin figure. Keep reading for more information.

The first of the two photos is a close up shot of the singer in a bright green sweater pouting at the camera. Her long, blond hair is perfectly tousled as it falls down her chest. A dark smokey eye was the highlight of her glam, in addition to her plump, pink lips that are perfectly glossed. She has long, brown nails and of course shows off her diamond wedding band.

The second photo immediately calls fans’ attention to her toned legs. She leans delicately against a concrete wall, posing with one hand on her hip as she stares down the camera. In a pair of cut-off, light-wash jeans, her legs look thin, toned, and miles long. This is perhaps helped by the platform heels she’s paired the outfit with. She aptly captioned the photos, “Sweater weather.”

Jessica Simpson continues to show off 100-lb weight loss

Though she initially lost the weight over 4 years ago, it hasn't stopped her from flaunting her thin frame. Back in 2019, she posted on Instagram about the health kick that helped her lose the weight, noting especially that she walked 14,000 steps per day. "6 months. 100 pounds down," she wrote. "Yes, I tipped the scales at 240."

 

"My first trip away from #BIRDIEMAE and emotional for many reasons, but so proud to feel like myself again. Even when it felt impossible, I chose to work harder."

 

The former reality star worked closely with celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, who told E! News about the rigorous training program she had Jessica on. "It had to be more than just getting back from her baby weight, but how do I keep whatever I am doing now forever," she said. "That's why we are not a big fan of doing any extreme diet or radical forms of exercise."

 

And this strategy has clearly worked for the actress. During a 2021 appearance on the Today Show, she reveals that she doesn't even own a scale anymore. "I have no idea how much I weight," she said to Hoda Kotb. "Like, I just want to feel good and be able to zip my pants up. If I don't, I have another size. I have every size."

 

The star has a ton of clothes on hand, as she launched her own fashion line, The Jessica Simpson Collection, in 2005, and has since earned over $1B in revenue and is the most successful celebrity licensing brand in history.
