If you’re working toward your weight loss goals, there’s a good chance you’re already aware of two crucial components: protein and portion control. But even if you know that these factors should be on your list of priorities, it can be extremely difficult to stay aligned with your goals as you’re grocery shopping amidst all the tempting processed foods. Let’s face it: it can be tough (and expensive) to find healthy, high-protein, low-carb snacks that actually taste good. But not all is lost! One health expert on TikTok says you don’t have to look any further than your local Aldi.
In a recent TikTok, wellness creator Anne Koii (@annekoii) shared a list of her go-to high-protein, low-carb Aldi finds. “Let me show you some of the things that I would eat at Aldi,” she tells viewers. From creamy cheese wedges to healthy gravy (yes, healthy gravy!), here are Anne’s top picks you’ll want to add to your cart ASAP.

1. Happy Farms Spreadable Cheese Wedges
Attention, cheese lovers! You'll definitely want to give this delectable snack a shot. "These are brand new at my Aldi," Anne says, comparing the spreadable cheeses to Laughing Cow cheeses. "They’re only $2.99," she goes on, noting that they work perfectly as a cream cheese alternative. Plus, each wedge is only 25 calories—and has 2 grams of protein! Not bad! Flavors include creamy garlic and herb and pepper jack. Yum!

2. Guacamole Singles
Pass the guac! Portion control is everything when it comes to weight loss, and these guacamole singles from Aldi make it easier than ever. Anne says they're one of her staples for avocado toast. "90 calories per cup, 1 net carb, zero added sugars, 1 gram of protein," she says. They’re a flavorful and satisfying option whether you’re watching carbs or just trying to avoid mindless snacking.

3. Simply Nature Chicken Sausages
When it comes to high-protein, low-calorie meats, chicken sausage is a great choice, and Aldi has some fantastic options. Anne calls out the Tomato Basil Mozzarella flavor specifically: "100 calories per serving, only 2 carbs, 14 grams of protein," she highlights. The Organic Pesto variety is another winner: "This one is less calories, only 80, 12 grams of protein–and 0 carbs." We're sold!

4. Kevin’s Turkey Gravy
It's hard to believe that gravy can be healthy, but this option from Kevin's proves us wrong. Kevin's provides tons of better-for-you alternatives to your favorite foods, and this gravy is a winner, according to Anne. "It's only 45 calories, 2 carbs, 2 grams of protein—way better than regular gravy," she says. The best part? Clean ingredients. "The fact that my Aldi carries Kevin’s is such a great thing." We agree!

5. Chobani Zero Sugar Yogurt
When breakfast rolls around, it's hard to think of a better way to fit protein into your meal than delicious Greek yogurt. This option from Chobani is a slam dunk. "This has zero lactose, which I love, and only 60 calories," Anne explains. "11 grams of protein in this little thing." Sign us up!

6. Cold Smoked Atlantic Salmon
Salmon is one of the healthiest foods around, packing in protein and healthy fats—without packing in calories. This option from Aldi may seem like a pricier pick at $12.99, but it's a great value considering the quality. "You get Atlantic salmon that’s cold smoked—80 calories, 12 grams of protein, 0 carbs," Anne says. We'll definitely be adding it to our cart!

7. Organic Tofu
Meatless Monday? No problem! If you're vegetarian—or just veggie-curious—protein is one of the best options to load your meals with protein and great taste. Aldi's got you covered. "Tofu for only $1.59 is a win," Anne says. "90 calories, 3 carbs, 9 grams of protein." It’s a versatile and affordable plant-based protein that works well in stir fries, scrambles, or air-fried as a crispy snack.

8. Keto-Friendly Bread and Tortillas
Eating healthy doesn't have to mean giving up your favorite foods. That includes bread! Aldi offers keto options for those limiting their carb intake. "The thing I love about Aldi is their huge selection of keto-friendly bread," Anne raves. "Only 35 calories a slice and you can see that the carbs are pretty much 0 net carb. 4 grams of protein." She also recommends their carb control tortillas: "Only 4 net carbs, 60 calories."

9. Prime Drinks
They may not technically be a food, but these tasty beverages are a low-carb hydration option for those cutting sugar. "Prime has only 2 net calories, zero added sugars which I love to see, and 5 carbs," Anne notes. We're definitely going to give these a try next time we're at Aldi!

10. Liquid Egg Whites
Egg prices may be on the rise these days, but there's no denying that eggs and egg whites are among the healthiest choices when it comes to prioritizing protein and limiting carbs. Anne calls Aldi's liquid egg whites one of her favorite "protein cheat codes," They're ideal for meal prep and quick breakfasts. "They’re only $5 for this giant thing at Aldi. 25 calories, 5 grams of protein per 3 tablespoons. Insane macros. Highly recommend." You don't have to tell us twice!
Now, if you don't mind... we're going to make an Aldi trip.
