TikTok creator Nzinga Young (@veganzinga) who focuses on vegan ingredients, recently shared her viral overnight chia pudding recipe that is not only vegan-friendly but packed with protein.

Young aims to achieve a daily protein intake of 100g, and this breakfast choice plays a pivotal role in helping to reach that goal.

The recipe calls for “any nut butter and any vegan sweetener.” You want to stir them up at the bottom of a glass jar and refrigerate overnight.

In a separate bowl, add in you chia seeds and a plant-based milk of your choice, mix them together and refrigerate that as well.

Young then says, “The next morning, take both of them out of the fridge, see how the nut butter is a little solid? You’re going to cover that with the chia pudding. Then I add some protein granola from Trader Joe’s and a little fruit and it’s done!”

Young say to scoop up the pudding from the bottom up to get all the ingredients in one spoon. She notes that this recipe has about 27g of protein.

By combining these ingredients, this becomes a well-rounded breakfast option. It not only meets the protein goals for vegans thanks to the peanut butter, but also provides essential nutrients, making it a delicious and wholesome addition to a plant-based diet.
