Mother’s Day may officially be today, but Today Show host Hoda Kotb got an adorable early gift from her daughters Haley Joy and Hope Catherine this past Tuesday.

Kotb, 57, snapped a video of the special moment and shared it with her Instagram followers. In the video, her precious little girls are leading her down the staircase of their home. “If you look ahead,” Haley instructs, “there’s a special note that will be on one stair.”

When Kotb finally reaches the treasure waiting for her, the moment is simply priceless. “Happy Mother’s Day Mom,” the note reads. Awww! We’re melting!

“For me?” we hear Kotb ask, before thanking her daughters. But it becomes clear that there’s even more to come. “Is there more? What’s happening?” the star asks as her daughters lead her to the kitchen.

Then something simply adorable happens: Haley and Hope break out their best singing voices and serenade their mother with “Happy Mother’s Day”—to the tune, of course, of “Happy Birthday.” We think we even hear some harmonizing going on!

The pajama-clad girls then show Kotb a full cup of coffee they’ve prepared for her all by themselves. We can’t think of anything a working mom could love more than that!

There’s one final piece of Kotb’s gift though, and her daughters make sure they don’t forget about it: it’s a box of raisins, which they call a “special snack.” We love it!

“Mother’s day came early,” Kotb wrote in the caption. “Lucky me. #melting.” Adorable!

Kotb recounted  this moment on Today with Hoda & Jenna the following morning. “All I heard was, ‘Go upstairs for 15 minutes,’ which kind of scared me. And I go down, Haley had made a cup of coffee. She made it in the Keurig!” Very impressive! “That could have been a disaster,” she joked. Luckily, though, her daughter used an oven mitt to handle the coffee. Smart thinking for a little girl!

Kotb says one major takeaway from this beautiful moment was the fact that she doesn’t need to spend too much time stressing over how to ensure her daughters are having a good time. “Sometimes, we spend too much of our time trying to go to an event,” she said. “It’s like, wait a minute? They actually loved that. They spent time making something all by themselves.”

It certainly seems like they did love it—and we love to see it!
