Presenting on live TV is no easy task, and as we are all human, mistakes unfortunately do sometimes happen. This was very apparent on one of the latest episodes of Today, as co-hosts Hoda Kotb, 58, and Jenna Bush Hager, 41, had to correct co-host Savannah Guthrie‘s mistake!

Hoda Kotb And Jenna Bush Hager Correct Savannah Guthrie's Pronunciation

The incident happened on the Thursday, February 2nd show, when Hoda and Jenna were in Quebec, Canada and Savannah, 51, was in New York City with their other colleagues, Carson Daly, Al Roker, Craig Melvin, and Sheinelle Jones.

"It is colder up north and that is where Hoda and Jenna are single-handedly bringing the sunshine to the nation of Canada," Savannah said on the show, adding, "They're in Quebec City this morning. Ladies, how is it?"

The camera then focused on Hoda and Jenna, who were not shy of hiding their disapproval of the way Savannah had pronounced the name of the Canadian city, which according to Google, is "kwuh·bek" with more emphasis on the latter part of the word.

"Ok, first of all, SG, it's pronounced 'Que-bec,'" Hoda told her co-star, emphasizing the second half of the word as opposed to the first half which Savannah did. Jenna instantly agreed with Hoda, as the pair then repeated the word several times to make sure Savannah and anyone else struggling with the pronunciation could get it right. The show then aired a video of Hoda and Jenna seemingly having the time of their lives in the snow, including skiing and tobogganing.

Savannah Guthrie Says Goodbye To $7.1M NYC Home After 5 years

Let's hope the Princesses Save the World author wasn’t too offended by the harsh correction on live TV. We think she may have had other things on her mind, as last month, she and husband Michael Feldman put the Tribeca home they had been living in for the past five years up for sale, to pursue the "vision and dream of living in a townhouse" in the city, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Their four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home which spans over 3,700 square feet has been listed for $7.1M. Savannah and Michael bought it for roughly $7.114M back in 2017, which means they will make an estimated $14,000 loss if it sells for the current asking price. Despite dreaming of a townhouse, Savannah will still be reluctant to leave, adding, "My fingernails will be scraping against the glass leaving this apartment."
