Enable Find My Network

Before you can find your powered-off phone, you’ll need to turn on a specific setting that will make it possible to trace your device when it’s off. Go to Settings and then Find My iPhone. Tap on Find My, then Find My iPhone, and make sure Find My Network is turned on. This option will allow your iPhone to be traceable even when your device is off.

Test the Setting

Once you’ve enabled Find My Network, you can test it out to make sure it is working. To test this setting, press the power and volume up button as if you were turning off your phone.
