Hunter Biden Claims That Fox News Is Using His Past Addiction and Staged Photos To Harm His Father’s Career
At the end of April, Hunter’s attorney sent a letter to the media giant threatening to sue based on the alleged terms of unlawful publication and conspiracy to defame.
While there are many photos that Hunter wants removed from circulation, in a recent interview with The Daily Beast, he focused on one in particular.
The publication reported that Hunter pointed to an infamous photo of himself, asleep in bed with a glass pipe in his mouth. "Clearly someone took that picture," he told The Daily Beast.
He continued: "that’s actually a meth pipe." He noted that the pipe in question wasn't a crack pipe, and stressed that he never used meth, leading him to believe that photo was staged.
The Yale Law graduate, who is still under fire for tax evasion accusations, claims that Fox News is attempting to take down his father, President Biden, 81, by not letting go of his past "bad behavior."
"I’m not saying my addiction is an excuse for my bad behavior," Hunter said to The Daily Beast. "What I’m saying is that my addiction is not an excuse for them to dehumanize me—and in doing so dehumanize everybody from the addict that you pass it on the street, to the one that you live with."
Hunter’s lawyers shared that they plan to file a lawsuit "shortly."
"Think about five years of a systemic f—ing campaign to vilify and dehumanize me," Hunter continued. "If we ever got them, it would make Dominion look like f—ing, in my opinion, you know, pattycakes."
