I own an embarrassing number of jeans. I even use Madewell’s incredible buy-back program to recycle old pairs, but even so–my closet is stacked high with every wash, fit, brand that you can name. Regardless, I always end up wearing the same three pairs.
That’s because of all the denim out there, there are only so many pairs that actually make your butt look good. I love my designer denim for that, but I was also shocked to learn that Madewell’s jeans are just as dreamy on the tush as they are on the wallet. Especially their Perfect Vintage!
The jeans have a waist-accentuating high rise and tapered leg; the brand calls them “mom jeans if your mom was a ’90s supermodel.”
They perfectly shape my waist and give just a hint of that wedgie jean trend that is so big. They are comfy without being overly stretchy, and again–I look *really* good from behind in them.
They’re one of the three pairs I wear in heavy rotation–and because I can’t help myself, I plan to buy more:
Madewell The Perfect Vintage Jean in Rosabelle Wash: Comfort Stretch Edition ($135)
Madewell The Perfect Vintage Jean in Barnsdale Wash: Button-Front Edition ($114.50, down from $135)
Madewell The Perfect Vintage Jean in Tile White: Raw-Hem Edition ($128)
Madewell The Perfect Vintage Jean: Metallic Tuxedo Stripe Edition ($64.99, down from $135)
Madewell The Perfect Vintage Jean in Ainsworth Wash ($128)
Madewell The Perfect Vintage Jean in Clearview Wash: Button-Front Comfort Stretch Edition ($59.99, down from $135)
