I Kicked My La Croix Habit With This One Life-Changing Kitchen Tool From Amazon

Being forced inside for months hasn’t been the easiest process, but there have been some really good things to come out it. Not only have I become closer with my family–but I’ve discovered ways to save money and simplify my life, as well.
One of those discoveries has been my Sodastream!

I was a two-cans-or-more-of-La-Croix-per-day kind of girl before this whole thing started. I would bring one can in my lunchbox to work, and crush one or two more later with dinner. My husband, who recently stopped drinking, also got on board with the habit. Seltzer is such a great substitute for booze!
But the only problem is that the stuff isn’t cheap. We were spending $15 per week on La Croix from the grocery store before the COVID-19 crisis. That’s money that I could use on other areas. And once the grocery store became such a horror show, I knew that I needed a more sustainable solution for making bubbly water at home.
I decided to try the top-rated soda machine as a way to break my dependency on buying La Croix, and I haven’t looked back!
The machine is available on Amazon; it’s around $80 for the machine, a plastic tumbler and the carbon dioxide canister. (Aka, everything you need to get started.)
Now I can make seltzer from tap water anytime–this has already payed for itself, and made my life so much easier with one less thing I need to worry about re-stocking at the grocery store.
Also, not to mention that it’s better for the environment; the company recently announced their commitment to eliminating the use of 67 billion single-use plastic bottles by 2025 for Earth Day. Love this!
